Eoin Colfer is such a talented and funny author. His enthusiasm and unique way of describing things makes him one of my favorite MG book authors. LOL Artemis Fowl has a theme song. I had a MAJOR crush on him (Artemis Fowl, not Eoin Colfer..LOL) in 6th grade or so…I was kind of heart-broken when the series ended…
Now, The Wish List had been sitting in my bookshelf for about a year now. I think it was some kind of gift…(maybe my 13th birthday?) from Momiji. LOL it seems I get all my books from you, Momiji. Glad to see you’ve begun commenting at last!
I thought the TAKS test was a great opportunity to read some books I’ve left untouched in the bookshelf…(Sorry, Momiji! But books that actually belong to me don’t have due dates!) So I opened up the book after I finished the Science TAKS. It had me flipping pages at the first page. Something about the way Colfer words things makes it ‘kid-friendly’. It made me feel young again..*wistful tears* LOL
Also, the fact that he incorporated tidbits about the afterlife…ingenious, I say. My fav. character has to be St. Peter. He’s hilarious, even though he doesn’t even try to be. Him and Meg. Yeah.
I’m glad that I picked up this book and not another one. (Yes, there are many untouched books in my bookshelf..)
I love The Wish List… and Artemis Fowl… and The Supernaturalist… Eoin Colfer writes really good books…
I liked the “Burst Ball” part. It was funny.
Heee, I’m glad you liked it!! :3
LN….you’re still 14 year old, very young actually….people start saying things lie “mad me feel young again” when they’re middle-aged…:)
hehe…I like the pretty squares…
sorry, “mad” should be “made”…me and my typos…
LOL I have no idea where the squares came from.
I found out where the pretty squares came from!! *feels proud* Read this: http://wordpress.com/blog/2008/05/04/default-avatars/
