Whoa. I’m…15. That’s…sort of scary. It’s hard to believe that after so many years, I am finally:
1. Older than Maximum Ride, who is apparently 14
2. Older than Giannine, from Heir Apparent
3. The same age as Eragon in the first book.
4. The same age as Cole in Touching Spirit Bear
5. The same age as Clary Fay in City of Bones, although she of course, turns 16 later on in the book.
6. The same age as Tally Youngblood in Uglies
7. The same age as Jessica Day in the Midnighters Trilogy
8. The same age Aya Fuse in Extras (Is it just me, or does Scott love writing about 15 year old girls? lol)
9. The same age Harry Potter in the Order of the Phoenix.
10. The same as Aurora and Fia (in the beginning of the book). And maybe Evangeline (the main character of my next book), although I might make her a tad bit older.
11. On a scary/disturbing note, 15 year olds are of legal age to be sent to prison in the UK and to have sexual intercourse in Sweden. D: And, in most cultures, officially a “young adult”.

Funny how, for the characters in the books, they seemed much older when I was reading them. I remember sitting around in my 10-11-12-13-14 year old body going: Wow…15 year olds are so crazy and old!
Now, I’m one of them. -_-; Can’t say if I’m happy about it or not.

…Well actually, I’m kind of glad to get rid of my 14 year old self because 14 just wasn’t one of my best years. A lot of sad things happened. Same with 13. Hopefully 15 will be better.

But whether or not aging is a good thing, it is sadly inevitable. If only a sexy vampire was around to give me immortality…in a few years. (I DO NOT want to spent an eternity as a 15 year old, thank you very much. 20, maybe.)

And although my birthday wish of about 3 years now has not yet come true, I have a feeling that I am getting closer each year. ; )
