Thoughts of an Aspiring Teenage Writer

Well, I’m gonna use the questionnare format that Scott used on his blog.

Born: April 30, 1994
Cheung-Ju, South Korea

Family: Gyung-Suk, mother, born in Korea Sookil, father, also from
Korea…I’m an only Child, but always wanted an older sibling. (OLDER, not younger)

I live in Texas. I WANT to split my time between New York City and Korea.

Grew up in Korea, California, Florida, and Texas…might move again, might not.   

 Total # of houses I’ve lived in: about 9

My dad is an engineer who I THINK specializes in AC-DC and semiconductor-stuff. My mom…is an esthetician, who is constantly accepting customers here at home sweet home.

Education: (Wow, mine isn’t that impressive compared to Scott’s. ) 

 Half of kindergarten at Pinnochio Elementary School, Su-Won, South Korea; the other half, 1st, 2nd in CA (different schools); 3rd,4th, and first month of 5th in FL; rest of 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th in TX

Writers: Stephenie Meyer, Jane Austen, William Shakespeare, Victor Hugo, John Green, James Patterson, Libba Bray, Jennifer Lynn Barnes, Meg Cabot, Scott Westerfeld…etc.

Books: (this changes very often…but as of now…) Airhead, To Kill a Mockingbird, An Abundance of Katherines, Breaking Dawn, A Sweet Far Thing, Wuthering Heights, and Twilight.

But as a kid: Probably the Edge Chronicles, Patricia Wrede’s ‘…Dragons’ series, fairy tale books…Korean and American.

Movie: As of now, probably “Daredevil”,”X-Men”, or “The Dark Knight”.

Songs: “Purple Line” by DBSK, “Time is Running Out” by Muse, “U Go Girl” by Hyori Lee

Band/Groups: Nightwish, DBSK, Chevelle, Epica,Within Temptation, Muse, etc.

Food: Anything that isn’t deep fried, sauteed in lots of sauce, and/or unhealthy. I tend to lean towards the fruits and carbs.

Drinks: Milk, water, and green tea

Meal: breakfast (SAME AS SCOTT, OMG. lol)

Geometric theorem: Vertical Angles Theorem

Property of equality: Transitive Property of Equality.

Jobs held: (unfortunately not paid): student and busboy (girl?); (paid): babysitter, poet, and artist

Six Interesting Facts

1.) I used to have a dog whose full name is Kaiba Seto Lee.

2.) In fourth grade, I kissed this blonde guy from Georgia  on the cheek…as a farewell present when I found out I was going to move to Texas. (Dramatic, I know. I scoff whenever I think about it now…) 

3.) Almost all the music in my ipod are from non-American bands.

4.) When I first moved to America, I spent my kindergarten days circling the playground singing korean songs because of my poor English. However, by 1st-2nd grade, I was one of the best kids there and got admitted to the Gifted and Talented Program.

5.) I’ve read erotica before.

6.) I’m not a very picky person.

Favorite Battle Scenes in LOTR: Probably whenever the ring wreaths (or whatever they are called) appear. The wizard spells are awesome, too.

Which actor do think best portrayed their role in the movie?
I think the guy who played Frodo did a pretty good job. He was really good at being a little, scared…but brave hobbit.
